Business training for children
As we enter 2019, most parents of school age children will be turning their attention to the next set of school holidays in Dubai. Aside from a short mid-term break in February, most schools will be breaking up for Spring break (or Easter) on the 28th March.
Chances are, you've heard of STEM education in the news recently. It's a hot topic, and for good reason. Read on to learn more about what STEM entails and why STEM education is so important to today's children.
While we rarely stop to think about it, engineering benefits us every single day, and the field is growing faster than you can imagine! It's easy to think that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) are only used in super-technical professions, but the truth is that STEM weaves it's way into all of our lives.
Summer is approaching fast, and in a few weeks your children will be home and looking for something to do! As a parent who cares about education and knowledge retention over the summer months, you want to make sure that your child's mind is being enriched so that they are soaring ahead (instead of falling behind) as the 2017-2018 school year approaches.
The birds are chirping, the weather is getting warm as the summer is finally just around the corner. It's time to start thinking about what your children are going to do while they're off from school. There are many options and as a caring parent, you want your child to both have fun and enrich their education over the summer. Science summer camps are the perfect solution and STEM for Kids can help!
Congratulations from STEM for Kids to the Indian High School Dubai, who's students made the UAE proud by winning the Best Engineered Car Award at the Texas the F1 in Schools™ World Finals 2016™ World Finals 2016, held in Austin.

STEM means Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (as we all know, of course!), and while the S, T, and M are quite self-explanatory, I’m often asked what exactly kids do in our Engineering programs. It’s a great question! Kids do science, maths, and even technology at school so those are familiar to us – but what about engineering?
In a nutshell, engineering is integrated in every aspect of our daily lives, because it means the science of designing, making and building things. So, how can it help your children at school?
There's no doubt that the popularity of Summer Camps in Dubai is on the increase. Higer levels of work commitments from parents and the changing trend towards shorter summer vacations means that families are spending more time than ever before in Dubai during the summer months of July and August. However, while the popularity of Summer Camps is increasing, there are many reservations from parents who are looking for more for their children than what currently may be on offer.
