A combination of STEM & Technology based activities for both weeks of this year's Winter Camps. For 4 to 6 year olds

Week #	STEM	Technology
Week 1	Super STEM Indulge in a plethora of exciting STEAM activities that will ignite your child's curiosity and invigorate their senses. Our program is built to ensure a fun and engaging experience for all our young learners.	Robotics Each day, your child will have the opportunity to design and construct a unique robot using LEGO elements, motors and sensors. By learning to code and program these robots to complete tasks, your little one will be ready to take on any technological challenge that comes their way.
Week 2	Sensory STEM Indulge in a variety of sensory STEM activities that will stimulate your child's senses with diverse textures and colors, while exploring the wonders of science experiments.	Machine Whiz Unleash your child's inner inventor as they explore the world of simple machines like levers, gears, and inclined planes through designing and engineering basic machine models. With our Machine Whiz program, your little one will be a master at understanding the mechanics behind everyday objects in no time.

Week 1	STEM Labs Get ready for an exciting week of hands-on exploration and discovery as your child delves into the world of STEM activities! From geometry to electricity and beyond, our engaging and fun-filled activities will keep your child challenged and entertained all week long.	Drones Your child will soar to new heights as they learn the principles of aerodynamics, master block-based programming, and sharpen critical thinking skills all while having a blast with drones.

Experience the thrill of problem-solving with our STEM Master activities, designed to challenge your critical thinking skills while engineering models in a fun and engaging way.

Machine Whiz

Explore the world of engineering by creating innovative machines and contraptions using the exciting and colorful LEGO elements. Learn about the different types of simple machines like gears, levers, and pulleys and their impact on the engineering process. Put your problem-solving skills to the test and solve real-life problems with your LEGO creations.

Week 2

Rube Goldberg Innovation

Embark on an exhilarating journey of innovation as you design and build a series of contraptions throughout the week, using the principles of simple machines and gradually building upon the progress of the previous day. By the end of the camp week, you will have created a fully functional Rube Goldberg machine that will leave you in awe of your own ingenuity.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Discover the magic behind AI tools like ChatGPT and learn to create your own! Explore the fundamentals of coding and train your computer to "think" by teaching it to recognize text, pictures, numbers, and speech through innovative coding methods. Unleash your inner tech wizard and embark on an exciting journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence.

What is NCFE?

NCFE is an awarding organisation and registered educational charity providing qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, in the United Kingdom. NCFE is regulated by Ofqual in England, and recognised by Qualifications Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment in Northern Ireland.

How qualified are your STEM & Robotics Coaches?

Our STEM and Robotics coaches are vastly experienced within their fields. Many have previous teaching experience that is relevant to the age groups they coach during our programs and have been trained to US standards with the STEM and Robotics activities they provide.

What are the camp timings each day?

For our upcoming camp, the following timings apply:

Drop off from: 8:30am - 9:30am

Camp start time: 9:30am

Pick up time: 2pm

Days: Monday to Friday

What are the weekly fees and sibling / group discounts provided?

Weekly Fees: AED 1,150 per week per child

Day Rate: AED 250 per day per child

Sibling Discount: 15% for second child onwards

Multi-Week Discount: 15% per child for bookings greater than 1 week

What is your policy on food and refreshments?

Please provide your child with any food and refreshments they may require each day. Food will not be provided by STEM for Kids. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refrigeration facilities on site.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation is not provided by Pure Minds Academy

Do you have a social distancing policy?

Yes. We will be following the guidelines set by the authorities and the venue that we operate within. and the policy is subject to change, depending on the situation at the time.

How does registration work?

You can register your child directly on this website page. Please note that registration is strictly on a first come, first served basis. Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your place. All prices are inclusive of 5% VAT.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly camp. Free cancellation will be provided until 7 days of the start of your registered camp week. Cancellations after this date will incur a 50% penalty. Please also note that the camp schedule is subject to change.

Are your programs accredited?

Our NCFE programs are approved locally by the Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Customised Qualification Accreditation

Our qualifications have been developed to meet the specific needs of our learners and have been accredited by NCFE, demonstrating quality and rigour.

NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), Wales (Qualifications Wales) and Northern Ireland (CCEA Regulation).

Level in relation to the qualification

Our qualifications have been accredited as a Customised Qualification, and we have benchmarked the qualification’s learning outcomes and assessment criteria at the specified level mentioned on course descriptions (using national framework level descriptors) to allow us to demonstrate the difficulty and depth of study.

Certification from NCFE:

Upon completing the Customised Qualification, learners will receive a certificate of achievement. The certificate is evidence of the knowledge and skills gained by completing the qualification. These types of qualifications have been accredited by NCFE under the Customised Qualification, and the certificate of achievement will be issued directly by NCFE.
